Eamon McCleery
Campaign Manager

Eamon McCleery, an Oregon native, was born and raised in Eugene. He attended the Eugene Public School System, where his mom still teaches. Eamon went to Whitman College in Washington where he graduated with a BA in Politics in 2006. In college he became president of the Whitman College Civil Liberties Union and the Alliance for Workplace Justice – an organization he helped found that assisted a local meatpacking union in their struggle for safe working conditions, fair compensation and a voice within the company.

After college, Eamon returned to Oregon and began working in politics. During the 2006 election cycle, he became field director for State Representative Chuck Riley and helped the Democrats take back the House of Representatives. During the session he worked down in Salem for Representatives Jackie Dingfelder and Chip Shields. Eamon is thrilled to be the campaign manager for a candidate like Cyreena who will be a stalwart progressive voice in the Legislature, who believes in the common good and who will stand up for her community.
